This is an interesting post on Louie Crew's blog. It seems to me to be worth thinking about the notion that Senator Obama can stand in several different shoes at the same time. He is plugged into the black experience, the white experience and the immigrant experience. It seems to me that in the current anti-immigrant environment, we neglect that voice -- at our peril.
Perhaps it would behoove us to consider electing a president who can enter into so many points of view from personal experience.
